THE LODGE
2018

With the meaning of "Passage" as a major source of inspiration and Sylvia Plath's poem Laidy Lazarus,
we were led to the creation of two sculpture - spaces.
The passage is the journey, the transition, the mutation, the transformation that takes place between two different states.

The Lodge focuses on the investigation of the interval between death - endometrial state and birth.
Death is symbolized as a square place and refers to a refuge, prison, tomb while the spherical symbolizing birth, like an  egg, cauldron, womb.
