We constantly receive images and information, and we translate them through our own experiences to understand, but do we really understand?

Do we really want or even try to understand? SPLIT STEP is an invitation to actively join my world while I meet yours. Like when we were young, playing without judging too much and thinking what is right or wrong. We only need a few milliseconds of Split Step time and after landing all directions and possibilities become available. Which are you going to choose?
 

This work is based on a personal research about how with all my embodied knowledge from dance, sports, fitness and on stage experience , I can finally invite the audience to see dance afresh. Instant composition is the path, in which me as a performer try to be open to all the possibilities that come up. Space and audience affect the initial structure. My will to surprise through playfulness and to share my feelings of the moment to connect with the people.

Through the years I found out the importance of truth communication and I strongly believe that simple elements can connect us again. A gesture, a gaze with full intention to communicate, an unanswered question. My dance is for the space, is for the time, is for you and it is me , what I have become through all my experiences until that very moment of me on stage continuing to change and be open.

Is not about showing, is about being exposed in new stimuli, absorb them, and redirect them. To be human, to not criticize and hopefully make you feel something. The images that are created suggest narratives but in a constant suspension. Is a project that each time is different in the composition but same in the approach.
